We had a great time last night- It started off pretty regular. Hubby and Bubby were getting very shaggy, they were so in need of haircuts it was getting difficult to recognize them. :) So it was off to Great clips for us, I have friends who cut their husbands hair and that's great. However, I will leave it to Great Clips because I would hate for poor Hubby to need a paper bag over his head. After haircuts we headed home to feed Bubby and put him to bed, then with Bubby in bed Hubby and I went to work making our valentine dinner. It was pretty simple and it cooked up quickly but it was so tasty! It is hard to beat a great steak and Hubby did such a good job cooking them! We also splurged on some ice cream cake and back roads wine both very nice treats!
P.S. To all the valentine haters out there I'm sorry, but I happen to like it. I know that we should show our love every day and all that- and we do. I just think it's a nice reminder to stop the daily grind for a a bit and spoil the ones you love. Even Bubby got into the action he had a great time telling everyone Happy Valentines Day and he got Maid-Rite, his favorite for lunch :)
