Spoiled
This week has caused me to reflect on how we get often get stuck in the daily grind of life - we get kind of board and take the ordinary for granted. My husband is working a lot of extra hours this week and though the paycheck will be nice come Friday, Bubby and I are missing him terribly. It's not his fault it is simply, that we are spoild, and we are accustomed to spending much more time with him. This may sound sappy but I really think that I am married to one of the best husbands out there. Now don't misunderstand he's not perfect and neither is our marriage- but none the less he is one of the biggest blessings in my life. I just happen to believe that magic occurs when you marry your best friend. That somehow the conflicts don't seem so serious and life's load is just easier to bare. There is no one that I'd rather spend my life with that's a fact. After a stressful day of toddler chasing I can seriously hardly wait to see him walk trough the door. Why? He is so helpful and cheerful he never cares if the house is a mess or if we have to go to the grocery store before there will be dinner. He's got my back if the laundry pile is out of control or if the obnoxious beagle has shredded who knows what all over the floor for the 700th time! His smile still melts my heart and I hope it always does - he built me a beautiful new kitchen this year on top of working 40+ hours a week to support our family. He is the greatest Daddy I've ever known and to see him in action is a beautiful thing for me. He can change a mean diaper and rock a sad Bubby or even sing him a song. He can fix anything and loves to play dump-trucks and end-loaders. Most of all he just loves us, and in doing so he brings a real sense of safety and security to our family and I know that I take it for granted way more then I should. So this post is intended to be a THANK YOU! from a wife who doeen't say it enough :)
