Last night someone very dear to me asked me a very tough question . . . that person is likely to read this post and that is fine with me.
She asked me where my child/children would go to live if something tragic should happen to both my husband and I.
I gave her a quick answer and I'm afraid that she thinks that the decision was as quick as the answer I gave . . .It was not!
The truth is that it is a hard question, with no easy answer and it is one of my greatest hopes that the time I spend answering it is useless.
I hope very much to be here as our sons grow into men, to watch them get married, and have children of their own.
Yet, if we cannot be --we must choose the people who should stand in our paces.
My child/children are blessed with so many who love them beyond measure. . .
Who do you choose?
Is it the person who makes the best pancakes or reads The Lorax the best?
Should he go to the place where he already has his own tractor pillow and sock monkey to sleep with?
Should they grow up on a farm?
They need a father figure. . .
What if they grow up in another country?
Where ever they go, will someone teach them who their Momma was? Who their Daddy was?
Who God is?
