Family Movie Night,

Grandma made Elijah a nifty new baseball print apron for Christmas. Last night when we made chocolate chip cookies for family movie night, he was excited to use his apron for the first time. I figured we should have a picture for Grandma to see.

We ate stuffed potatoes and salad for dinner and for the evening's feature film we watched Incredible Veggies. The boys love family movie night so much that they chose it over going out to eat. It really is the simple things sometimes. I love my sweet boys!

Who am I?

I am a follower of Jesus who struggles daily to seek his will, and to love Him more. My greatest hope is that His love shines through me.

I am my mother's oldest daughter; she is one strong woman so if I'm stubborn it is genetic. She raised me to persevere. I never got to use my Cerebral Palsy as an excuse - I owe her for that.

I am a big sister.

I am a wife to the kind of husband that every girl dreams of having . . . he's not perfect, just perfect for me! I love him more than he knows, and take him for granted more than I should.

I am a stay at home mom to my two blue eyed blessings. They make me smile every day. . . and yes on occasion they make me want to pull my hair out. I've slowly come to terms with the fact that my house will be quiet when my boys are grown, that is fine by me! Any job that comes with a handsome little someone who loves you more than "all the snowflakes in the whole w(r)orld" is the only job for me!

When I have a quiet moment, then what?

I heart coffee and dark chocolate, especially if they are enjoyed together and in the company of my sweetie.

I like to read (if and only if ) the book takes me away in the first few pages. Otherwise I get bored, short attention span I think.

Daisies make me smile.

Writing is like laughter to my soul. The written word is an old friend. Cozy, like my most favorite sweatshirt!
